A research survey was conducted with six organizing pastors of congregations started by the MAC within the last fifteen years. The survey focused upon congregational perceptions and in particular what was important and driving the congregations at their inception. A qualitative analysis was also performed on the Guidelines for New Church Development and Revitalization utilized by the MAC at the time these congregations were started."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Columbia Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["b5eba5c2-141b-4673-9689-2f9720736859"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791128676703666176,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:03:36.351Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T10:27:21Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:07:33Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"9de4054b-4995-4faf-a3ab-61ceffdc7d45","accessControl_ssim":["37cd064c-50be-44f8-b071-20779a595258"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["'Generative teaching congregations' and effective supervisors-mentors in theological field education: a test of model characteristics through the lens of Duke Divinity School students"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T10:27:20Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T02:45:11Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["bff11014-d837-40bc-8439-d97bd41f0612"],"hasLease_ssim":["1620617c-cca5-4862-96ca-549f6f84920d"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Columbia Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["R Leon Carroll"],"year_tesim":["2006"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Connie Mitchell Shelton"],"publisher_tesim":["Columbia Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Language and religion","United Methodist Church","Comparative studies","Religious education--Teaching methods"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This study finds that seminarians participating in theological field education can better articulate contextual learning when offered a framework of detail-specific language. Quantitative questionnaires, using R. Leon Carroll, Jr.'s, 'habits and virtues' of generative teaching congregations and Lois J.
