This goal was accomplished by pastors writing about the extreme conflicts which occurred in their congregations. A series of statements provided each pastor a framework for their story. These conflict stories were compiled into a study guide meant to help pastors and congregations discuss extreme conflict in a preventative manner. It proposes that students use peer mediation in a Scriptural based program.  The project uses previous evaluations of peer mediation programs and results of a questionnaire sent to all Lutheran High Schools in the United States.  The research shows a need for scriptural based peer mediation.  This includes a peer mediation workbook with sample forms and letters.  In response the paper espouses ways to implement a successful peer mediation program.
