The project has shown that a Christian pastor can follow a course of action, which will result in the reduction of this relative insignificance.  The reduction is shown through comparing surveys administered before and after a program of emphasis on the Lord's Supper. A case study for this project was from those completing a new members' course at the Independent Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN.  Data was collected by way of survey with questions pertaining to the biblical aspects of community, purpose, and structure. Specifically, it is believed emerging leaders who participate in a leadership course focusing on character development will express a higher degree of willingness to enter into leadership. Twenty-five adults participated in a course entitled, ' Character Formation in Spiritual Leaders', a study focused on God's role in shaping the character of His people.
