The research method used was qualitative case studies of two churches who opened five campuses in a seven year period.The thesis of this dissertation asserted that certain ingredients exist that, when mixed together, result in accelerating the development of a leader. They are: vision, staff, lay leaders and core volunteers, finances, location and facility, ministries, technology and equipment, governance and operations structures. Nine churches that have successfully launched multi-sites were selected as field participants.  A developed survey was administered to the participants and the results analyzed to validate or invalidate the hypothesis.
