It first explored the thread of 'community' throughout Scriptures, from the relational Triune Creator (Genesis 1) to the final community of faith (Revelation). Touching the OT faith community, this thread passed through Jesus' life and teaching before focusing upon the NT church and the 'one-another' commands. The researcher created and administered a 100-statement survey as a pre- and post-test to 167 students enrolled in a summer program designed to produce growth in twenty different areas of their spiritual life and ministry effectiveness. The results were gathered, sorted, and evaluated by the researcher, indicating spiritual growth did take place during the nine weeks. The author speaks to their Trinitarian origins and subsequent practice by the community God created in His image. Jesus, the Apostles and the New Testament community called it 'one anothering.' The study documents the impact of a small group study of biblical one-anothering on the level of marriage satisfaction as measured by qualitative and quantitative measures. The project was fundamental to the life and work of ministry--the desire for spiritual growth, commitment, and excitement among the people. The researcher devised a ten-week preaching series and Bible study programme and a nine-week prayer course on prayer. The spiritual well-being of the congregation, Bible study groups, and the selected prayer course was tested pretest and posttest.
