It entails placing ministries in urban areas where there is not visible Christian witness. The curriculum is designed to integrate a wholistic mission theology with an understanding of contemporary world issues.  Throughout the curriculum, the Lausanne Covenant is used as a backdrop against which contemporary world situations are viewed, thus forming mission imperatives for the 1990's.
