These liturgies, for use in Sunday worship, are not a funeral or wedding as such, but attend to the emotional and spiritual issues inherent in those transitions.  A brief liturgy of support for grieving families was also developed. It stresses the importance of a congregation becoming more involved in the baptism of each child and provides resources for parents to guide children.  This model for a congregational baptismal ministry includes concepts of the baptismal liturgy, the learning methodologies of the Small Catechism, and the redemptive approach of small Koinonia groups of parents.  This project was the response of two churches to fill an evident void within the whole church.
