A methodology of in-depth interviews with three 'post-anorexic' (physically recovered) women was the foundation of this qualitative study.  A coding table linking shame, female identity, and the mother-daughter relationship allowed for quantification of the data. The results indicated deep shame around female identity, although the anorexia appeared more an effort to break free from a shame-bound self than a symbol of it. The methodology incorporated a two-item questionnaire, modified case studies, and follow-up interviews with four of the twenty-five participants.  The five categories from Women's Ways of Knowing by Belenky, et al, asessed each woman's level of individuation and differentiation. Six lay persons shared their vocational journeys in relation to work, lifestyle, and their calling in the Body of Christ.  They were prepared by classes, group meetings, and pastoral sermons and dialogue.  Evocative questions developed thinking about vocational meaning.  The project was grounded in biblical and ethical thought about vocation, psychological research in speech as commitment, and faith development through educational methodology. This project sought to carry out an experiment in caring ministry by training laypersons to care for the aged in the Donam community in Seoul, Korea. The results of pre- and posttests showed that the attitudes and beliefs of these laypersons regarding the nature and function of the church were significantly changed through participation in caring ministry. It is commonly viewed as a necessary evil for the survival of the church.  This project explores the role of the sermon in developing healthy stewardship awareness and practice by following the homiletical preparation of five pastors during the traditional fall stewardship campaign.  Reactions of the congregations are recorded through case studies which come from a small sharing group within each church. The results of the study indicate that how clients perceive the pastoral aspect of their counseling has bearing on how they experience satisfaction with their counseling. The conclusions of the study were that these pastors have a strong sense of call, have a strong relationship with their ecclesiastical body, and do their specialized ministry as a continuing incarnation of Christ.  These specialists do not decrease in pastoral identity while in specialized ministry.
