The program utilized self disclosure and group discovery techniques to enhance positive self-concept perceptions. The study sought to bring to each participant's awareness that they possess powerful inner resources that can help them overcome personal impediments for a successful return to society. The key to their empowerment is the daily resolution of inner conflicts. Psalm 133, 1 Corinthians 12:12-31 and Philippians 1:27-2:18 all give a clear message about the importance of trust that builds unity within a faith community. The researcher was of the opinion that a few well chosen and developed ministries would increase male engagement at the church. The project proved to the researcher that ministries used in isolation to rejuvenate males and stimulate church growth fall short of their intended goals. They sparked interested and motivated the male members for the short-term.
