The author wrote four sermons and planned four worship services based on those sermons. She charted questions on a Likert continuum, adding open-ended and reflection questions on a second page, and solicited volunteers to participate in the research. Seven worshipers volunteered, and attended four consecutive Sunday services, reflecting, answering questions on the form, and being interviewed. Industries failed More church members were dying than new members joining. We formed a grief ministry to care for the church and community families. When death comes, the church now has a ministry offering God's grace, hope, and assurance of resurrection to the church and town.
