Using a quantified questionnaire-survey, this dissertation analyzes how church leaders view the existence of their churches and their relationship to the Great Commission.This dissertation finds that there firstly needs to be a change of mindset. When there is a breakthrough in ideas, practice will follow suit. The next part presents a blueprint and strategy designed for church leaders to follow, aiming at promoting mindset change. The blueprint includes the structure, system, and execution of discipleship training with suggested practical lesson plans.     In conclusion, one of Jesus’s purposes on earth was to spread the Gospel to all people. His disciples were not only followers, but also people changers whose own lives were transformed first. When we clearly identify the meaning and mission of the church’s existence, we will see that the primary responsibility of the pastor is to cultivate and train disciples. When Jesus began ministering in the first century, He established a disciple-making team that changed and transformed the world. This thesis contains five parts: Preface, Biblical and Theological foundation, Design of the Research, Findings and Solutions and Conclusions and Directions of the future. Part 1: Preface. It introduces the motivation and questions for the research topics. It points out that to establish and build up the Christian family is the calling of this generation and is the efficient strategy to withstand the attack of secularization. It asks the question of how to help the family foster and develop talented children for the Kingdom of God and how to help with continual growth of the church.Part II: Biblical and Theological foundation. This thesis is based on biblical theology and explores the purpose and significance of the family as established by GOD. It introduces the concept of establishing the Christian family and investigate the theory from the perspective of edification of the church, the growth of the church leadership and the concept of pilgrim family in combination of teachings in the bible. Part III: Design of the Research. The thesis illustrates the method and the design of the research. It uses the qualitative method by conducting in-depth interviews with five separate Pastors to collect data from which to make conclusions using the phenomenon analysis method. Part IV: Findings and Solutions. This part is based on Chapter II and Chapter III and categorizes the research findings to develop a systematic conclusion. It also provides practical solutions on how to encourage and cultivate the ministries of Christian family leadership in order to grow the church. It helps the church to be more efficient in pasturing the Christian families. Part V: Conclusions and Directions of the future. It confirms the mutual beneficial relationship between the church and the family and how they can positively influence each other. It provides a viable solution for church ministry and developing future generations for the Kingdom of God.This thesis provides new inspiration and methods for ministering new immigrant families from Mainland China. In addition to that, it should be one of the ministries of high importance by the house church in China. The study materials were delivered to participants in an online environment. The teaching goals of this Bible study were to enable believers to understand and reflect on essential Christian doctrines, apply it to their daily lives, and engage in biblical behavioural practices as a result.This project was conducted and tested with twenty participants. Data collection tools included an initial written narrative, the responses to a 14-week online study Created for Relationship, an online course evaluation survey, and a second written narrative. The findings indicate that CMB were aware of their need to learn and grow in their new relationship with God, however, discipleship in a world of online social connections requires the same intentional mentorship relationship as in-person discipleship. Through a survey, 90% of the churches have some common needs: full time co-workers, being good witnesses, knowing how to evangelize, and adult Sunday school. These problems are mainly related to the lack of Bible teaching and discipleship training. The result shows that proceeding with teaching of personal evangelism and training bears important influence on the growth of believers. The Timothy Three Step Discipleship Training makes a 'seeker' gradually becoming a trainer of others through a 'two way' training relationship. Through research on discipleship training and the Me Generation and personal testimonies from my own congregation, this dissertation concludes that the Me Generation especially needs life coaches, mentors who walk with them, teach by example, and guide them as role models.
