It also attempts to understand the real needs of believers’ family as well as to provide strategies for developing family ministry. Hopefully it will be used by churches as a reference for evaluating the needs of their own church congregation and using appropriate strategies in response to the problems. Twelve parents of spiritually vibrant adults were surveyed from house (10) and three-self churches (2) throughout provinces (7) and municipalities (5) in mainland China. The survey revealed the parents' regular prayer life, loving and respectful marriage, commitment to faith, and positive parent-child relationship as the most influential components of family life.
