It is based on the thesis that, through a proper understanding of spiritual guidance, the Lutheran pastor can be greatly helped in guiding individuals in their spiritual journey and formation. Spiritual guidance is presented wtihin the context of contemporary spirituality, showing how it differs from pastoral counseling.
