The results of this study are incorporated in further theological reflection.  The concluding chapter outlines a proposed model for future church relations programs.  This model consists of seven foundational principles and five practical suggestions. Taking seriously both the delphi study and the Lutheran doctrine of the two kingdoms, the model challenges the agency to engage in church relations as a theological task which requires political strategy. Research on the technique is discussed as are Christian objections to it. TM is deemed permissible for moderate use in some circumstances, and the hypothesis is conditionally sustained.  But concern is expressed about the religious (Hind] aspects of the Science of Creative Intelligence, the philosophy surrounding the TM program, and about the esotericism and secrecy in the advanced TM Sidhis program. Recommended are more scientific research and theological reflection on TM. Through survey and analysis of the self-understanding of a number of church lay leaders, the more significant factors are isolated and described. Results of the research indicate that family and sacramental factors are highest on the list of contributors to these leaders' development. Without a feeling that life has had meaning in the past it is easy to lose identity and integrity.  Life review helps maintain a person's integrity, identity, and self-worth.  It provides a legacy to the younger generation.  It can help a person cope with loss, grief, and depression.
