Through three sermons I will show that law and gospel makes it possible to identify both the human and the spiritual dimensions of the text from the Bible and of life. Preaching hope to a congregation which is experiencing a decline in its economy, population, and the health of its individual members is necessary. I used the preaching techniques of lived experience and narrative preaching, based on the theology of the cross.
