The methodologies utilized to achieve this goal consisted of council and congregational teaching and training, survey instruments based upon the Likkert format and control group input.  The project revealed that worship council members rated novel worship techniques employed during the project with higher marks than their control group counterparts. The opinions of the participants were expressed and recorded through the use of questionnaires and surveys.  Because worship is to be an eternal activity, it is good to learn about it thoroughly in order to perform it properly. Both children and adults were educated on the faith development and worship capabilities of children in the corporate worship setting. Biblical and psychological research was used to formulate sermons, worship manuals, and aids.  A worship committee comprised of adults and children planned and evaluated a corporate worship service to reflect the goals. Seven persons participated in the nine-week study, the first two being didactic sessions that covered worship and preaching.  They then participated in a Lenten Bible study-seminar of the New Common Lectionary texts. From the study, the author gained insights for the sermon. Utilizing a control group, the author conducted a pre-test and post-test.
