Monthly seminars were used to impart information and the catalyst for transforming facts into action was a weekly peer group meeting. The objective data, gathered before and after the project, and church assessments, preproject compared with postproject data, revealed the project to be successful.  The subjective data was not conclusive. My goal is to lead a small group of six adults to a greater awareness and understanding of the spiritual, physical, relational, and intellectual interrelation of life, and to lead them to begin to take concrete actions toward enrichment in these four areas. The group participants wrote and shared their life histories. From these personal narratives we discovered a common dramaturgical pattern within our congregation. The project was developed through a series of eight two-hour sessions which were designed to provide lay counselors with insight, information, and techniques from theology, psychology, and sociology.  To determine the effectiveness of such a program several methods of evaluation were used, including a pretest and posttest which were evaluated by a two-tailed t-test for correlated groups.
