The objective of the project is to implement church growth concepts to help achieve spiritual and numerical growth of the churches of the district.  This study of church growth concepts revealed that new churches represent the best approach for reaching and assimilating people not actively involved in any congregation. The author used the Likert System to complete his analysis.  He gathered statistical performance data on 144 selected churches in four measurable areas: profession of faith, Sunday school attendance, worship attendance and financial support.  Pastors and church members completed a survey designed to measure leadership.  The author tabulated data and performed a statistical analysis.  The findings supported the hypothesis.  The closer a church moves toward the participative style of leadership the greater will be its measurable growth.  The study also revealed that the area of financial support was most effected by leadership style and profession of faith was least effected. Popular church growth plans often are not applicable or conducive to such a setting and often have cataclysmic results for the church and pastor. This plan is adapted and curtailed to meet the needs of the subculture of the church while being faithful to its evangelical heritage. The step-by-step plan is given with the results, positive and negative.
