The Kansas City North Oak Church was in a stage of its life-cycle in which it needed to recover its missionaly focused purpose, with missional praxes. The purrpose of this project was to explore and test the proposition that Christian corporate worship patterns and practices will shape and support the core value that the church is 'a Missional People' into the ecclesial practice of a missional church--a church for others. The research indicated that a missionally focused church demonstrates a consistency in: (1) A congregatinoal missional core value, (2) Missionally focused patterns and practices in corporate worship, and (3), Missionally focused ecclesial praxis. This dissertation examines current literature on Christian corporate worship as well as literature describing current cultural characteristics in the United States.  A six-week series of worship services was conducted incorporating the results of the study.  The services are then evaluated to determine if they have been culturally sensitive and ministry-effective. It compares these prayers with the congregant's perceptions of the Church of the Nazarene's teachings on the doctrine of entire sanctification.  The purpose of the project is to analyze and evaluate the congregant's expectations and reactions to the comparison.  It uses the descriptive survey method of inquiry to gather data from the control group of the Grandview church and from a companion test group randomly selected from four other Nazarene churches in the Kansas City area. This project contains a section on 'The Review of Related Literature' which covers the doctrine and practice of entire sanctification which outlines what constitutes transgression in the life of those who claim the experience of entire sanctification or Christian perfection.
