The project director began this project by studying relevant works that address how to develop rapport when preaching to teenagers. After interviewing teenagers and itinerant communicators, the project director identified three preaching techniques that communicators can use to develop rapport with unacquainted teenage audiences. After an entrance interview, the senior adults and youth participated in six group training sessions lasting at least one hour. The sessions consisted of studies involving generational differences, mentoring basics, and relationship building suggestions.
