The project director developed curriculum based on seven interpersonal relationship skills which research for the project revealed as key to promoting healthy team dynamics. The project director expanded these interpersonal relationship skills into a training curriculum and enlisted and trained a group of leaders in a workshop held over four weeks. The author explored literary works in the field of adult student recruiting, existing adult recruiting strategies and models used by other institutions, the demographics of past and current ACHIEVE students, the adult friendliness of the college's student support services, and current recruiting practices.  From the findings of the external and internal exploration, the author developed a strategy for recruiting adult students.
