The equipping model was chosen to provide a lasting resource for training disciples. To accomplish this purpose, research was done in the field of disciple making. This research led to four primary disciple making skills; abiding faith, relational accountability, missional living, and intentional multiplication. From these skills, an eight-session curriculum was developed and implemented to train selected adults during a Friday night and Saturday\r\nmorning workshop.\r\n\r\nEvaluation for the project was accomplished through a pretest and posttest. Each participant took a test before the workshop began to assess their level of  understanding of disciple making. Once the curriculum was completed, the participants took the same test to determine what was learned. At the end of the workshop, each participant provided an evaluation of the workshop to determine the value of the training. The project director led selected staff members, laymen, and laywomen of Airline Baptist Church to develop an evangelism strategy to utilize in the sports ministry. The strategy planning team met for five sessions to develop \r\na sports evangelism strategy that took into account best practices from other sports ministries and guidance from experts in the field of sports evangelism. The project director informed the team of data from a five-mile demographics survey, sports evangelism literature, and alternative sports ministries. In addition, the strategy team met \r\nwith two experts in sports evangelism via Zoom meetings. The project director led the team to develop a four-part strategy for using sports for intentional evangelism. Discipleship is an element that this church has been missing. The church has used the Sunday morning pulpit and attendance in Sunday school as the discipleship strategy. The issue is the church has not had a strategy to intentionally help people grow closer and be changed by Jesus. The purpose of this strategy was to create a strategy which would promote intentional discipleship for the adults of Liberty Baptist Church. I will utilize demographic studies, research, and a strategy team to develop a strategy for Liberty Baptist. The project director and the team presented the strategy to the church elders for approval. The elders approved the strategy and recommended it to the church for adoption. The project explored the two broad cultural environments of collectivism and individualism and their respective models of dating. The produced research was compared to biblical principles to highlight best practices.This project followed the research model described in the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Doctor of Ministry Handbook. Driven by low birth rate, worldwide population aging is expected to accelerate in the future. Churches are also faced with a crisis in which the number of children and the younger generation going to church is falling and growth stalled. Strengthening the senior ministry, which is demanded by the world we live in today, is a mission Churches must take upon themselves and a way to change this crisis into an opportunity. The project director first conducted extensive research on materials related to senior ministry and based on vigorously researched theories, set specific directions for the senior ministry of a church to take. Then, through research and analysis of the unique environment of Atlanta Bethany United Methodist Church, the project director carried out the process of developing an effective senior ministry strategy.The strategy was developed through a process of establishing a strategy development team within the Church and, through four meetings, building common understanding and gathering opinions, and conducting surveys. The finalized strategy was presented to the Church’s official committee and received approval. The outcomes of each state were sent three times to outside specialists, and the strategy was completed after making revisions based on their assessments. In this process, it was assessed that the ministerial goal of developing a senior ministry strategy as well as personal career development goal of enhancing knowledge of senior ministry and improving strategy development skills were sufficiently achieved.
