Because the church has multiple campuses in different areas of New Orleans, the demographic breakdown for each campus varies from that of the other campuses. The churchwide and campus specific pastors, worship leaders, and staff desire to meet the needs of the ethnicities represented in the congregations of each campus and would therefore welcome any guidance for planning multiethnic worship services.\r\n\r\nUtilizing the ministry research model outlined in the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Project in Ministry Handbook, I researched the worship service planning practices of 101 multiethnic churches across North America. In order to discover similar best practices that may be applicable at Celebration Church. I accomplished three ministry  goals in this project. First, I researched the field of multiethnic ministry to identify the essential skills required for local churches. Then, I developed a workshop to equip selected Jackson County Baptist Association leaders with essential skills for multiethnic ministry in the local church. Finally, the workshop was given to equip selected Jackson County Baptist Association leaders with essential skills for multiethnic ministry in the local church.\r\n\r\nI also accomplished two professional goals in this project. The first goal was to \r\nincrease my knowledge of multiethnic ministry in the local church. Additionally, I desired to improve my workshop development skills. The project took place in three different phases. First, I researched the field of church revitalization to determine what competencies are suitable in a multiethnic church setting. Second, using a team of experts in church revitalization, including LeRoy Ford’s book Design for Teaching and Training, I developed a workshop that provides an overview of various multiethnic church revitalization factors for the selected pastors. Third, I equipped the selected pastors with the multiethnic church revitalization workshop to increase their knowledge and understanding of multiethnic church revitalization. Finally, for the project completion, I encouraged the selected pastors to carry out the responsibility of revitalizing their churches, using the multiethnic church revitalization competencies. A total of twenty pastors attended the workshop, and the workshop lasted for about eight hours with six different sessions.
