The project director utilized an equipping model in order to accomplish the goals for this project. The first phase of implementation for this project was to research the fields of missional worship and postmodern culture for the purpose of developing annotated bibliographies in those fields to be used as research standards. The second phase of the project was to develop a workshop curriculum for the equipping of a worship design team to address cultural and missional issues related to worship. In the third phase the project director taught the curriculum in a weekend workshop to a multigenerational group of participants in the worship ministry, including members of the worship band, praise teams, choir, and audio-visual team. The first phase explored the fields of multigenerational worship and strategic planning. The first part of the second phase required the project director to equip the pastoral staff of FBCM in the basic skills of strategic planning and to inform them concerning the dynamics of multigenerational worship. The second part of the second phase required the project director to lead the pastoral staff team to develop a strategy to transition FBCM from venue worship to a multigenerational worship model. Phase three resulted in the deacon fellowship and church council of FBCM approving the strategic plan and the time line for implementation. The projected director conducted research through means of an annotated bibliography of recommended books by academicians and from other professionals in the field of church growth ministry.  The project director had an expert in the field of curriculum development tutor him in curriculum development and evaluate his lesson plans.  Once tutoring had taken place, the project director developed a workshop consisting of six ninety-minute sessions.  The project director led these sessions for the selected group of First Baptist Church, Pontotoc, for the purpose of equipping them to implement the seeker-sensitive service. The training program included lectures, directed reading, discussion, practice exercises, assigned visits to various churches, and a rehearsal worship service planned and conducted by participants.  Project participants then planned, conducted, and evaluated Sunday morning worship for six weeks.  The project succeeded only in part, since some participants refused to lead public worship, insisting on involvement of members who had not participated in the project.
