After researching missional living skills and designing training materials, the project director met with a group of eight members of First Baptist Church, Tampa, Florida, to conduct six training sessions. Participants defined missional living, learned to develop a missional mind, heart, and character, and explored ways to develop intentional relationships, missional activities, and evangelistic conversations. The church and youth group have seen significant growth over the last decade ministering to hundreds of students in Bentonville and the surrounding area. First Baptist's desire was to develop a comprehensive six-year church camp strategy that would be sustainable and effective in reaching and growing teenagers for Christ. The doctoral project was divided into three major sections. The first section explored the field of existing youth camp and youth ministry strategies as well as specific research of First Baptist Church, Bentonville, Arkansas. The second section developed the strategy of a church camp ministry with  the help of the strategy team from First Baptist Church. The project director did careful research in data gathering, survey methods, and the use of questionnaires.
