Fourteen adult LIFE group teachers participated. Seminar participants evaluated their own spiritual vitality through the use of a personal spiritual inventory. The project had four stages. In the first stage the project director researched church planting that targeted the African American population. In the second stage four training plans were written. The third stage consisted of equipping the African American Ministries division. The eight-week study sought to empower students with an understanding of what being a disciple means and having an ability to implement the practices of disciples. At the conclusion of the workshop, students were equipped to begin meeting with two or three students, training them to be disciple-making disciples. The need for this training was significant due to an apparent void of university students who are disciple-making disciples.
