Development of the project included the preparation and delivery of doctrinal sermons and the utilization of young adults within the congregation, ages 20 to 39, as recipients and resources to provide sermon analysis.  The project director utilized the ministry-skill enhancement model.  Six doctrinal surveys were completed by the participants prior to a six-part doctrinal sermon series. From the research the project director designed a curriculum to equip the parents to train their children selected disciplines.  An eight-week parenting workshop was conducted utilizing the curriculum in order to equip the parents. The program gave the participants a broad view of church governmental systems, pastoral authority, and biblical leadership principles.  The program also assisted each participant in developing a leadership strategy for his or her ministry.  The program was taught in five sessions. The project director discovered several biblical financial planning concerns of churches through a survey. The survey data and curriculum development course taken helped guide the project director to develop teaching materials that equipped the select group of Georgia Baptists.  The equipping process included teaching biblical financial planning solutions to volunteer financial consultants in a two-day equipping retreat. The first two training sessions explored the elements of basic church greeting ministry and the expansion of greeting ministry responsibilities as presented in current church growth literature.  The third session examined the challenges of church greeting ministry as it is directed towards the incoming contemporary generations.  In the fourth session, themes were explored to prepare participants to share with church guests an expanded knowledge of Beth-el Baptist Church.
