The project began with the exploration of the field of worship leadership development to determine best practices of worship leadership development. Second, the project director examined strategy planning processes in order to inform the strategy planning team. Third, the project director enlisted and led the strategy planning team to design a strategy for the purpose of worship leadership development. The project director developed eight Sunday school best practices from a survey for the '2012 Georgia's Fastest Growing Sunday Schools.'  The project director developed the survey results into a training curriculum and enlisted and trained a group of adult Sunday school leaders in a workshop held over four weeks. The first step involves researching and addressing the awareness of the congregations understanding of biblical redemptive history. The second step involves enhancing the project director's skills in preaching Old Testament narratives. The research will include gleaning insight based in preaching Old Testament narratives. The project director will develop a sermon series from selected Old Testament narratives incorporating the common components necessary to address congregational awareness of biblical redemptive history. The first step of the project consisted of researching church and community demographics. During this step, the project director explored existing discipleship strategies of Christian churches and secular organizations. In the second step, the director led a discipleship strategy team to develop an adult discipleship strategy. In the third step of the project, the director presented the developed adult discipleship strategy to Oakville Baptist Church for approval. Oakville Baptist Church unanimously approved the adult discipleship strategy.
