A leadership training manual was developed and seven students were trained to lead koinonia groups.  These same students also participated in a weekly koinonia group meeting.  The participants and a control group of seven other students responded to a pretest/posttest.  The tests indicated statistically significant improvement in leadership skills and Christian maturity.  Outside advisors also provided input and evaluation. Descriptive and historical methods of research were used to design a video-based outreach ministry and a ten-week training course.  Eleven people participated in the seminar and evangelism program.  The project was evaluated through experimental and descriptive methods of analysis.  A statistically significant difference was not found in the pretest-posttest scores. A training model including twelve sessions of lecture and group activities was developed, and a selected group of adults was enlisted.  To test for a cognitive gain of knowledge, the experimental method of pretesting and posttesting was used.  Test comparisons revealed a significant increase in the cognitive test scores of the experimental group.  A t-value of 2.76 was computed which was significant at the .01 level of confidence. A program was implemented that motivated new members to be involved in regular Bible study, exercising spiritual gifts, support of church finances, and personal witnessing.  Four cyclical classes, each addressing one of the areas noted and operating autonomously, were developed to provide the new member with immediate access to the assimilation process.
