This was accomplished by the means of a ten-week training program designed to implement the practice of the principles of fellowhsip by the students. Scwarz and as manifested in Amite Baptist Church.  A strategy was developed in cooperation with the leadership team that addressed two of the weaker characteristics. From the time the first Christian church was established in Thailand to the present day, there has been little growth.  Most churches in Thailand remain weak and ineffective.  Some North American churches and the South Korean churches of the second half of the twentieth century have both prayed and fasted for their countries as a regular practice, resulting in an increased number of believers. The teaching methods used during the sessions were lecture, group discussions, questionnaires, participant interaction, and take-home assignments.  Initially five couples attended the first session and four other couples joined the group beginning in session two.  A study of the written evaluations reveals that the goals were reached. The project included selecting and enlisting forty-five facilitators for the visitor retention program. The training lasted six weeks and the project was the evaluated. The training module and the facilitators' growth through the training sessions were all evaluated.  Several avenues of evaluation were used including: expert evaluation, pretest/posttest, surveys, and pastoral reflection.
