The information was obtained from questionnaires and on-sight visits to church related counseling centers, biblical and historical research, seventeen years as a navy chaplain, counseling in a local church, and in conversation with various chaplains and lawyers. Air Force","Spiritual life--Christianity"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This project utilizes small groups to encourage spiritual growth and care for one another as a strategy for ministry with young singles in the United States Air Force.  Chaplains and laity received small group ministry training at the Air Force Singles Conference.  Surveys conducted immediately before and after the training disclosed a positive shift in their attitude toward small groups as an effective means of providing spiritual care and stimulating spiritual growth.
