Many Korean-American churches suffer due to the divisions caused by the generation gap and cultural barriers between the Korean and English-speaking congregations.  The Joy Korean-American Church created a model of 'blended worship' in order to overcome the disharmony and distrust, and to reconcile the differences of the two congregations. The research uses a threefold method: biblical -- the New Testament; theological -- the doctrine of the universal priesthood of all believers; and typological -- the contextual ethic of the church and its environment. The context for this project is the Yang Jae Baptist Church located in the midst of Seoul's entertainment center, the Yang Jae District known as the 'Korean Rodeo Drive.'  One of the burning issues in the youth ministry of the church is the environmental impact of the area upon the youth, especially single parent teens, who are particularly susceptible to temptations such as drugs, alcohol, illicit sex and violent behavior. The context for the thesis project was the Stanwood Free Methodist Church which is located forty-give minutes north of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Stanwood is a small village of aobut 200 people.  Most of the people of the church live in the country.  The design of the project was a case study using an action research model.  This model was used to effect a change in the given congregation's understanding, experience, and practice of the communal meal.  The thesis was evaluated along accepted lines of social research using a triangulation of methods including questionnaires, a focus group, and field notes. Second Baptist Church is a traditional church whose future depends upon revitalization.  The purpose of the project is to implement a comprehensive model which involves the entire congregation in team ministry.  The method used includes interviewing members to enlist them, organizing ten Ministry Teams and forming a Ministry Council to coordinate the system. The design of the investigation consisted of three phases: in the first phase, the two independent variables selected for this study were examined.  These variables were 'levels of communication' and 'communication competence', and were examined with a sample of thirty married couples.  The second phase consisted of the development of the Ministerial Support Program. The third phase was evaluative and proposed measuring the impact of the program through the accomplishments in marital communication that were obtained by the participating couples. The author felt that Christians should understand the meaning of worship and also experience it first-hand.  The author first researched the Bible, looking for passages that would help him to understand the ways of worship further.  The history of worship from the Old Testament was compared with that of the New Testament, and the duties of worship were researched. The members of Emmanuel Mission Church were given a series of seminars and questionnaires every two weeks.  As the author charted these seminars and questionnaires, he saw growing progress. Its ministry takes place at Venus Gardens, a community of about 1,500 families.  The purpose of the thesis was to develop an educational program consisting of one introductory session and six weeks of lectures, workshops, a retreat and preaching service, to console and restore the lives of people who are suffering the experience of divorce.  Divorced people had the opportunity to get together and learn what Matthew 19:1-12 and other texts teach on divorce. The Christian Formation Program (CFP) was implemented.  The emphasis was to make them aware about the life and mission of the church as it faces social situations.  It also deals with the need to know and learn about racial prejudice, and the history and culture of foreigners, in this case the Dominican brothers and sisters. The method involved a sermon series on spiritual gifts, a course on spiritual gift identification, individual consultations with the pastor, and placement in ministry opportunities.  The project resulted in more members serving in ministry.  A lay ministry of Congregational Care was implemented.  The Nominating Committee adopted an improved method of matching members with ministry opportunities.  Twenty people went on a mission trip to Puerto Rico.
