The study begins with an examination of the evolution of the Baptist faith.  It depicts the eventual separation within the group between the Arminians and the Calvinists.  Out of the Arminian camp develop the Free Will Baptists.  The project analyzes the internal articulations and variations of the Free Will Baptists as well as their relationships to other Baptist groups.  Chapter two provides a methodology and a theory which accepts the doctrine of free will as the point of departure in the movement's theology. The paper reports on ten sessions for young Taiwanese workers in Pan Chiao, a newly industrialized suburb of Taipei. The project is a disciplined reflection on, and evaluation of, the author's experience in teaching courses in Pacific studies, Christian education, and worship. A panel of lay persons plus a dialogue between biblical scholars made critical biblical scholarship available to the average believer using a video cassette recorder. Research involved perusing Vatican II documents and subsequent directives. Academic study of media production and related disciplines helped complete a new curriculum with a pilot video program which has been successfully field-tested.
