Women from the area of greater Trenton, New Jersey, between the ages of 25 and 39 who are not active in church are enlisted as a focus group.  The group format includes guided meditation, personal drawings of God images, and a survey to compare narrative information from women no longer active with that of women currently active in a United Methodist congregation.  The project does not establish a link.  Both focus groups express dissonance with the church's God images while maintaining continuous internal God-imaging.
