This practicum/project proposes that by exploring varied forms of prayer persons can deepen their relationships with God.  The practicum/project was conducted in two retreat settings.  The format of the retreats included discussion followed by opportunities for personal prayer.  Four prayer experiences were offered. This practicum/project has indicated that there can be a positive relationship between exploring new forms of prayer and enhancing one's relationship with God. A six-week study group examined seven written intercessions from various religious traditions, and focused on five 'circles of concern' which identified relationships from the self to the whole of creation.  The image of these 'circles' proved useful to the participants both in expanding their personal prayer life and in their appreciation of worship.
