Project participants consisted of African-American church and high school youths offering personal views of their world and issues of concern, utilizing open forums and survey forms. The revealing data offered and the high levels of interest displayed during the study revealed that they have many good ideas to share and desire greater dialogue with the church. These findings strongly suggest that including youth representatives in ministry planning could result in more appealing youth programs."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Perkins School of Theology"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["9d359def-dc0f-4ac7-a978-8df771bc0984"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799720611702898688,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T03:08:44.088Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:05:31Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T03:10:17Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"6a59e0f0-2071-4dd5-86e1-28591fe1f766","accessControl_ssim":["9458cb87-0e48-4b35-ad3c-e1b9ef818f3c"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Investigation and experimentation in disciplined and contemplative Christian community for single adults"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:05:30Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:14:58Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["3b2fff97-8da0-407a-822a-5158939a723a"],"hasLease_ssim":["eae872b3-7c92-4380-b7ff-acfa975c5f37"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Perkins School of Theology"],"advisor_tesim":["Edwin Edward Sylvest"],"year_tesim":["1991"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["George A Lewis"],"publisher_tesim":["Perkins School of Theology Southern Methodist University"],"subject_tesim":["Christian communities","Highland Park United Methodist Church (Dallas, Tex)","Church work with single people"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["A Christian community for single adults, intentional in offering personal affirmation and spiritual fulfillment, can be designed for those committed to long-term residency or to short-term renewal.
