The project consisted of six classes where personality and stewardship tests were given. Discussions about the biblical view of stewardship and one's own feelings, fears, motivations, and needs took place. It posits the paradox that people yearn for relationships (connections) with others yet keep themselves out of relationship (disconnected) because of hurtful past experiences. Case presentations show how key concepts of object relations theory--transference, countertransference, the unconscious, and resistance--can be reframed in a relational context to enable authentic and growth-fostering connections for both client and therapist. The theological correlation of this therapeutic approach, especially concerning themes of alienation and sin, isolation and suffering, are examined using a feminist critique."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Phillips Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["0f3d74d9-8a9b-4580-a458-c2d78a76b977"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799718051349790720,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T02:28:02.344Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":3,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Resource Type"},{"name":"creator_sim","items":[{"value":"Diana C Leaf","hits":1,"label":"Diana C Leaf"},{"value":"Larry Eugene Harrelson","hits":1,"label":"Larry Eugene Harrelson"},{"value":"Robert A Handley","hits":1,"label":"Robert A Handley"}],"label":"Creator Sim"},{"name":"contributor_sim","items":[],"label":"Contributor"},{"name":"keyword_sim","items":[{"value":"Pastoral counselors and clients","hits":1,"label":"Pastoral counselors and clients"}],"label":"Keyword"},{"name":"subject_sim","items":[{"value":"Psychology","hits":3,"label":"Psychology"},{"value":"Christian stewardship","hits":1,"label":"Christian stewardship"},{"value":"Holy Trinity Episcopal Church (Silver Valley, Idaho)","hits":1,"label":"Holy Trinity Episcopal Church (Silver Valley, Idaho)"},{"value":"Intimacy (Psychology)","hits":1,"label":"Intimacy (Psychology)"},{"value":"Jung, C.
