For one such container, this paper explores the Eucharistic Meal, an adaptive re-integration of the symbolic Eucharistic ritual with shared communal meals, inspired by early Church gatherings. Studying the images of the temple of the Holy Spirit, the body of Christ, and the people of God, the author discovers that the church was never meant to be a majority nor an elite.  Not the church structures, but the way in which they are used to pursue influence, power, and wealth, make obstacles to the emergence of the people of God. The purpose of this study is to discover if the curriculum can be effective in the black Baptist church as presently designed. The thesis of this paper is the importance of Christian education in the church, most specifically the black Baptist church.  The method of doing this study is through personal interviews of directors, teachers, pastors and students who are affiliated with the center using the above listed curriculum.
