The particular genre is expository preaching. The student's personal faith journey, theological views of Scripture and the embrace of expository preaching in discipleship development are highlighted. The doctoral paper provides a description of the context within which the project was developed, and the motivations that led to the founding of the congregation. The student implemented this strategy through a series of expository sermons followed by a focus group to reflect, respond, interact and evaluate relevance, contents, form and outcome. Appropriate instruments were provided to the group to facilitate the model."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["31bd5819-b5a3-4928-96d5-b581f38b637b"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799720517297504256,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T03:07:14.056Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T20:40:52Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:49:23Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"f9e1a86e-b2a5-4135-8111-a9078f9663d4","accessControl_ssim":["e952029b-4d15-4b95-ad27-85ebc7d3768f"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Christian worship in the Reformed tradition that connects: a resource for churches wanting to develop corporate worship that connects with people in contemporary culture, that is biblical, that is faithful to the church catholic, and that is..."],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T20:40:51Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T05:15:54Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["6561d259-1acc-4afb-8b59-8e8488c52e99"],"hasLease_ssim":["81beb1ed-87b0-4803-aeb5-394a69af96a4"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["John Burgess"],"year_tesim":["2001"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["James H Kraft"],"publisher_tesim":["Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["First Presbyterian Church (Mount Holly, NJ)","Public worship"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This project identified four motifs as necessary and sufficient for appraising contemporary Christian worship.
