The project shows biblical worship to be described by a number of characteristics and grounded in God's Word, presence, and community. Application essentially deals with the 'so what and now what' of a passage. It will be seen that the application portion of a sermon can have rich potential for connecting with contemporary listeners, but there are also challenges in this aspect of sermon preparation.
