Chapter 2 presents the biblical, theological and historical perspectives of the use of education to assimilate.  Chapter 3 deals with the sociological factors of assimilation and how they would apply to the local church.  Chapters 4 and 5 cover the actual project.  The results of the project were the training of the Sunday School leadership in different ways to minister to newcomers. The training tool is called 'TELL' which stand for 'teaching exchanged-life living'. TELL is unique in that (1) it utilizes the Law (Ten Commandments) in showing non-Christians their need for a savior; (2) it utilizes tests for true salvation from the book of 1 John to help people discern if their profession of Christianity is real; and (3) it emphasizes our identity in Christ in discipleship before emphasizing spiritual disciplines such as Bible reading, prayer, and witnessing. Chapter 2 briefly introduced two of Jesus' stories in Luke as a biblical storytelling model and surveyed the theological aspects of biblical storytelling. Chapter 3 explained that the human brain has a physiological structure and cognitive characteristics that enable the listener to maintain the essentials of the story for longer periods of time.  Story's role in human history, in both sociological and psychological aspects, was discussed here as well. Training of the Sunday School teachers, grounded on these findings, was described in Chapter 4. Chapter 5 shows how teachers themselves were instructed about the storytelling form as the biblical teaching method of faith.
