Chapter 1 defines the purpose, goals, context, and rational for this project.  It also addresses the definition of terms and the limitations of this project. Chapter 2 examines the biblical argument for the multi-campus model.  Specifically this chapter argues that the multi-campus model is consistent with what the bible teaches concerning the purpose, mission, and organization of the church. Chapter 3 addresses the sociological factors that influence the church and how the multi-campus model of church growth addresses these.  Chapter 4 examines six churches in North America that are implementing the multi-campus model.  In this chapter we see that the methodology of these churches will differ, but they all are using a multi-campus approach. Chapter 5 discusses how First Baptist Church of Windermere is implementing the multi-campus model. The purpose was to delegate many responsibilities of the ministry to leadership teams.  This resulted in more singles becoming involved.  Twenty-five singles were surveyed to determine their attitudes before and after the project.  Leadership teams were selected based on several factors, then trained.  A large single adult conference was the focal point of the project.  The results of the study showed little affect on the singles' attitudes. The methods of instruction and preparation are presented so that every aspect of the process may be duplicated by other church planters. The methods used for the study are literary and historical research,surveys and interviews. Chapter 1 of this study introduces the project.  Chapter 2 provides a biblical foundation by examining specific prays of Abraham, Jonah and Nehemiah from the Old Testament, and the instructions on pray by Jesus and Paul in the New Testament;a further theological study in this chapter considers the impact such a ministry may have upon a church. Chapter 3 examines the visible needs for a prayer ministry, the obstacles to such a ministry, the kinds of prayer needed in such a ministry, the steps for starting such a ministry, and the historical role of such a ministry in American revivals. Chapter 4 gives the steps taken to implement this project, and chapter 5 gives an evaluation, conclusion and future recommendations concerning this project. Chapter 2 addressed the biblical and theological issues surrounding the challenges of disciple-making.
