Chapter 3 sets forth a paradigm of doing effective Sunday School in the small church. Chapter 4 explains the process used in implementing the project. The pre- and post- questionnaire and the focus group were the evaluation tools. The sociopsychological research assessed the quality of Christian community evidenced within the small group movement. The field research was helped by seven cell-group leaders of KBC. The author researched the scriptural mandate for using biblical narratives to teach children about God, and the potential usefulness of developmental theories for children ages 7 to 11.  Participants in the project were trained according to the findings of the research.  After being trained, they taught a new curriculum that reflects the research findings.  Data from focus groups and surveys measured changes in the workers' attitudes and understandings. State College, the setting, where this project took place, was introduced in the first chapter of this project. I examined the biblical basis for discipleship training. The writer looked at the historical background of discipleship training and followed the works of various campus ministry groups in Korea. This ministry project analyzed the discipleship-training materials that are currently in use by churches in Korea and Korean churches in the States. With this analysis, results from the pre-survey, and the help of the Curriculum Advisory Committee, the writer created new curriculum and ran it through with the congregation via post survey. In summary, it has been determined that the curriculums created by the campus ministry groups and used by Korean churches in the States cannot be used effectively.
