Once they became personal evangelists, they would lead their classes to be more involved in evangelism. The author researched the importance of the pastor's role in personal evangelism.  He discovered evangelism was more effectively learned experientially.  He researched two basic fears in evangelism: incompetence and rejection.  He studied basic apologetics and researched how to overcome distractions in evangelism.  The conclusion was the teachers were more equipped as a result of the project than before it. Chapter 1 provides the context of the church and community settings. The goals, definitions, and limitations are also given. Chapter 2 gives the biblical, theological, and historical bases for the evangelism of children. Parents and the church are to work in partnership in the evangelism and discipleship of children. Chapter 3 examines cognitive and spiritual development of children. Personality types are examined as they relate to spiritual sensitivity to provide an overview of intentional evangelism. Chapter 4 covers what happened during the fifteen-week project. This chapter focuses on giving the facts of what happened and who was involved. Chapter 5 is the evaluation of the project. This chapter shares the goals that were met and those that were not. The author gives his personal theological reflection. The method of study and research focused on numerous biblical commentaries and other theological publications relating to these areas. Another goal was to describe key elements that might be used for further research in a pilot study. I used the observational method of qualitative research. I concluded that the oral history interview and oral history coding system are effective ways to provide couples with useable feedback on ten dimensions of satisfaction within their marriage. The process used to reach this goal was to, first, educate the deacons on the need of the church to take intentional steps in the assimilating adult new members.
