The project establishes a local television broadcast as a viable medium for reaching a community and utilizes a study group trained to interact with respondents. The task force contributes the research and guides the development and evaluation of a three-part news special produced and aired by a local television station. The congregation was separated into two groups for a period of eight weeks.  One group experienced video-assisted sermons and the other did not.  Each group was tested for retention of the sermon message. Results from the testing were further divided into five generations present in the church.  Statistically it could not be said that greater retention was gained by video-assistance.
