In an evaluation following the seminar participants conclude that a hierarchical management style stifles and hinders full involvement and cooperation between leaders and followers; lack of involvement and ownership by followers is a major drawback of hierarchical management; withholding information and insisting that people do what has to be done without adequate explanation destroys motivation and renders people ineffective. This project explores the rationale and the biblical guidelines for the training of youth pastors.  It also presents a youth ministry concentration model designed for that purpose. Included is a study of the training of youth pastors in the Assemblies of God and more specifically at Southeastern College of the Assemblies of God.  Southeastern's prior effectiveness in preparing men and women to be youth pastors is evaluated through surveying alumni who graduated over a twelve-year period.  Others who are experienced in the field of youth ministry were asked to evaluate the youth ministry concentration model.
