The initial data were generated by a questionnaire specifically designed and directed to the fourteen congregational owners.  A provincial status was then developed and circulated, accompanied by a survey validation document. This assessment yielded data from which pastoral interventions were identified, compared and classified according to the similar use of signs and symbols in faith expression.
