These women believe in God, sometimes pray, but rarely read the Bible. They are uncomfortable with certain beliefs that they associate with churches, but they appreciate church rituals and want to expose their children to Christian stories and values. Their busy lives are influenced by insistent messages from a consumer culture. Their husbands generally have little interest in church.
