The project focus was to develop a collaborative model on how to educate the community on the illnesses and symptoms associated with homelessness when internal church conflicts erupt. The mixed methodology was used to obtain the results through pre-test, post-test, questionnaires, personal interviews, and a focus group. The findings suggested that most participants did respond to being educated on the illnesses associated with homelessness. Only when homeless, addicted African American males know their history, their place in Scripture, principles of stewardship, and their relationship with God will they be able to appropriate knowledge needed for self-employment and entrepreneurship.
