the culture of the unchurched by exploring the subjective meanings they attribute to their spiritual practices and experiences. At the time of the fieldwork the researcher had been unchurched for over three years. As the unchurched demographic continues to grow, their reasons for severing ties with their local churches are explored. The hypothesis espousers that interacting with the unchurched will provide insights into ways to spiritually engage them. Fifteen unchurched women were interviewed for this qualitative, ethnographic study. The intervention aimed to inspire Christians to reclaim otaku for the Gospel. Research was accomplished through qualitative mixed methodologies including: surveys, interviews, observations, and group activities. The problem that the project addresses is the challenge of introducing and using media in the life and ministry of all churches, regardless of the demographics of the congregation in relation to size, age or even financial status. The objective of the project is to show media as a means of grace to be used in the life of all churches, to give examples of its use, and to make the medium holy. When the technology of media is introduced (prevenience), explained and exemplified (justification), enabling all persons to find value in its use to proclaim the gospel, making it holy in the eyes of the local congregation (sanctification), another means of grace is recognized in the 21st century church's mission efforts. Olivet Baptist Church, Columbus, Ohio, explored the misunderstanding of hospitality where benevolence is seen as hospitality. Descriptive research methodology included a pre-test to assess current understanding of hospitality, cognitive interviews, questionnaires, and observation. Treatment included a sermon/workshop series re: biblical hospitality in postmodern culture. A post-test was administered which showed significant shift in the attitude of those who were in the core group. Yet, most Christian workers still use literate methods even when working in oral contexts. This research focuses on biblical storytelling among oral learners. The primary research strategy was the multiplication of storytellers through intentional training and the collection of verbatim reports of their field experiences. Storytelling was found to be superior for knowledge transfer and for bypassing resistance to the gospel, and consequently more than 200 new congregations were planted. It describes authentic church growth and creates a replicable design to achieve such expansion.  The project took the form of a case study over a two-year period.  I present a narrative of an evangelism model that will stimulate church growth.  Various evangelism components with innovative methods and training sessions belonged to the project.  The results of this case study confirmed that churches which participated acquired membership growth. The model developed for the Mount Horeb Baptist Church included two, four-hour training sessions on relational evangelism. Along with the classes, a series of sermons related to witnessing were preached to assist in the motivational process. A training manual was created.
